Reduced‐dimension MVDR beamformer based on sub‐array optimization

چکیده

A reduced-dimension minimum variance distortionless response based on sub-array optimization beamformer (SAMVDR) is proposed for large array systems or some hardware performance constrained scenarios. The SAMVDR allows to weigh between convergence rate and computational complexity by selecting the sizes of sub-arrays. It worth noting that, employing a strategy, computing matrix inversion with flexibly choosing size matrix. When each 1, namely single weight MVDR (SWMVDR), avoids inversion. So SWMVDR easiest implement in system than other sub-arrays SAMVDR. found that has manageable fast rate, which verified theoretical analysis simulation results. Importantly, output very close auxiliary vector (AV) scheme, lower cost AV. In addition, can be applied parallel higher tracking speed.
